Tax Services
- Tax Planning – We distinguish our firm because of our focus on tax planning. Using our tax knowledge and applying it to your particular tax situation, we help you plan for your taxes. We prepare tax projections during the year to estimate what your tax liability will be. While doing this, we recommend tax savings opportunities that will help reduce your tax liability in the current year and future years.
- Tax Preparation – We help our clients stay in compliance with all federal and state tax filing requirements.
- Income tax returns – We accurately and efficiently prepare federal and state income tax returns for various entity types including individuals, corporations, partnership, LLC/LLPs, trusts, estates, and not-for-profit organizations.
- Payroll returns – We help take the reporting burden off you to allow you to focus on growing your business. We prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports for the IRS and Texas Workforce Commission on a timely basis.
- Sales tax returns – We prepare sales tax returns for each reporting authority, as required.
- IRS Representation – Throughout our years of experience, we have assisted clients with various IRS issues. We respond to IRS notices and represent our clients under IRS examination. We negotiate with the IRS for monthly payments or offers-in-compromise on outstanding IRS liabilities.

- Purchasing a business – We can evaluate prospective businesses’ financial statements and assist in negotiating a fair purchase price. In addition, we can help structure the purchase to your benefit and explain the tax implications based on the structure of the sale.
- Selling a business - We can help you groom your business to sell it next year or in five years. When the time comes to sell, we can assist you in structuring the actual sale and provide you with cash flow analysis and the tax impact of the sale.
- Bookkeeping & Compilations – As a benefit to our clients, we provide bookkeeping services. Taking your raw data, our full-time bookkeepers enter your financial activity to create financial statements providing you with monthly and year-to-date progress of your business. Should you do your own bookkeeping, our bookkeepers are more than happy to assist you with questions you might have. As requested, we issue compiled financial statements that can be used by third parties, including banks, lending institutions, and potential investors/buyers.
Audit and Review Services
- Audits – Should you need more than financial statements, we perform audit and other attestation work. Audits examine your company’s records, as well as its systems. An audit provides the highest level of assurance that a CPA can provide.
- Reviews – Less intensive than an audit, a review provides limited assurance. Reviews involve analytical procedures, which are not part of a compilation.
